GF-8251K-7JR FROGMAN Love The Sea and The Earth 25th Anniversary
G-SHOCK has been producing many collaboration watches with environment conservation groups. Those watches are commonly known as “Love The Sea And The Earth” watches, which as become one of the popular G-SHOCK series. GF-8251K-7JR is a collaborations with I.C.E.R.C, an environmental education group that studies dolphins, whales and nature, and many collaboration models with them has been released. However, among those models, GF-8251K-7JR may be one of the most special one for Love The Sea And The Earth fans since this model was released as a 25th ANNIVERSARY model for this series in 2019.
The skeleton bands on this watch have unique textures with patterns of 24 whales on them. You will notice there is another whale on the display when you turn on the back light, meaning that there are 25 whales on watch in total, which is a very impressive way to show this piece is a 25th anniversary model. Like other watches of this series, the symbol mark for Love The Sea And The Earth is engraved on the back plate. The module covered by the case is in blue, a nice accent color to the semi-transparent watch. Some of the words that are colored in gold, which is another good accent for this watch.
In fact, two other similar type of this watch was released at the same year; GW-6903K-7JR and BGD-5001K-7JR. The latter has patterns of dolphins instead. Along with those two, GF-8251K-7JR is a must-have for Love The Sea And The Earth fans.
