MTG-B1000RB-2AJR MTG 20th Anniversary Model
G-SHOCK MT-G was first produced in 1999, and on May 2019, a specially colored MTG-B1000RB-2AJR was released as MTG’s is its 20th anniversary model.
A rainbow IP (ion plating) is applied to the metal bezel to represent G-SHOCK MT-G’s strong presence led by innovative designs and materials that they have been adopting. The metal bezel is certainly striking and impressive. Color varies depending on the angle you are looking at and gives a mysterious impression. In natural environment such colors can be seen in a “luna rainbow”, a phenomenon that emerges by the light of the moon, and the color is so pale that it can be only seen in very dark skies in most cases. They have applied a rainbow IP to the top part of the inner box as well and “MTG 20th Anniversary ” is engraved above that part. You wouldn’t find any boxes similar to this. The box is also highly valuable along with the watch.
The watch is based on MTG-B1000 and have the same Casio’s cutting edge technologies. To mention a few, it employs Bluetooth smartphone link and radio control Mutiband6 to keep the watch always accurate. It has the Tough Solar system, solar powered movement so advanced that even the weakest light sources are sufficient to operate the watches. The Smart Access System on the watch provides fast, intuitive access to all of the key functions of the watch via an electronic crown.
The price has sky rocketed during summer for its popularity and rareness. It is one of the most special MTG watch for G-SHOCK collectors.
